Eric Silver
Assistant Instructor - Brown Belt

 
Eric Silver began his martial arts training in 1971. Starting with Judo, he later added Karate, Aikido and Yoga to his training regimen. After moving to Tennessee in 1981, he began practicing Wado Ryu Karate. Today he is a sixth degree blackbelt in this style. He has studied with many of the world's top instructors in the U.S., Japan, Brazil and Europe.

Eric began Jiu-Jitsu training with Rickson Gracie in 1994 and is now a brown belt with the Rickson Gracie International Jiu-Jitsu Association. He actively competes in both Jiu-Jitsu and Karate and many of his own students have become top Jiu-Jitsu competitors. His goal is to continue learning and to pass on to others the respect, honor, discipline and dedication that martial arts have taught him.

His school, Zanshin Dojo, is located in Nashville, Tennessee.
